Beard Oil

A nourishing beard oil that has been created by a chemist (Sophia – Tappermade) and barber (Gabrielle – The Den) collaboration. This oil gently glides over your face and beard and absorbs quickly, softly, and easily. Gabrielle uses this oil on her clients for moisturizing and shaving.

Why did we make this?

The Den Barber – Gabrielle, and Tappermade were chatting over a margarita and decided to create a beautifully formulated beard oil unique to our businesses. We wanted to offer something with high-end ingredients without the ludicrous price tag. The result is a range of three beard oils. They have the same base recipe and different scents.

What are the ingredients & why are they in there?

Each one of these ingredients has been considered carefully for what they can provide. Together they combine to make a fantastic moisturizing beard oil. I do not wish to make ANY claims that this facial oil will cure skin ailments (nutrition should be your first consideration). So, without further fuss, here is what’s in the beard oil.

Almond Oil – moisturizing, gentle, and it’s quickly absorbed by the skin. Non-comedogenic, meaning that it won’t clog your pores. Naturally rich in vitamin E

Camellia Seed Oil – High in Oleic acid which helps your skin repair itself and is rapidly absorbed.

Jojoba Oil – Anti-inflammatory properties that ease the effects of eczema and rosacea.

Broccoli Seed Oil – Revitalises dry or damaged hair without leaving a greasy feel. Absorbed quickly and easily by hair and skin and is highly moisturizing. Restores the shine of dull, lifeless hair if used regularly.

Castor Oil – A rich oil that ‘water-proofs’ hair. Also good for healing dry chapped skin

Vitamin E – Helps protect delicate skin from damage due to its antioxidant properties. Vitamin E is also known as tocopherol and helps protect cosmetic formulations against oxidation (going off).

Essential Oil Blends:
Ocean – Geranium, juniper, and lemongrass for a luxurious and calming scent.
Citrus – Black pepper, orange, lemon, and grapefruit for an uplifting and sweet scent.
Woody – Sandalwood and bergamot for a grounding scent.
