Gel to Milk Cleanser
Gentle oil-based cleanser with sucrose extract that turns milky with water to wash away. Gel to milk cleanser effectively cleans, lifting other oils, including suncreams and makeup, then washes away, leaving skin feeling hydrated and smooth.
30 g of cleanser in a glass jar that may be reused, recycled, or returned to Tappermade for re-use.
How to use Gel to Milk Cleanser?
Use a dry finger to scoop a 20 pence-sized dollop and massage over your dry skin. It feels a little like rubbing runny honey on your face. Once rubbed around all areas you wish to cleanse then wet your hands and continue rubbing, then splash with water to rinse and wipe your face clean with a cloth. Keep the product dry until you wish to wash it away. Keep away from mucous membranes, do not eat it, and if any irritation occurs, discontinue use and drop me a message.
Why did I make this?
Cleaning the face with just water does not effectively remove makeup, sunscreen, and other build-ups. Cleansing with soap may dry some people’s delicate facial areas. This gel is a perfect not-too-oily, not-too-drying cleanser that is perfect for daily use. Being PEG-free is a planet-friendly bonus too. PEGS (polyethylene glycols) are petroleum-based compounds commonly used in cosmetics.

*Parfun here is the name for Naticide. Naticide is a natural preservative derived from vegetable sources. While it is classified as “Parfum” or “Fragrance” on product labels (its INCI name), it’s important to note that Naticide serves a different purpose than added perfumes or fragrances. It acts as a broad-spectrum preservative, protecting the product against bacteria, moulds, and yeasts. This allows manufacturers to potentially claim a product is “preservative-free.” It is essential to use a preservative in cosmetic products that come into contact with water to prevent bacteria, mould and yeast growth. Though Naticide is technically labelled as a fragrance ingredient (due to the light vanilla/almond aroma), it is considered a non-irritant and DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY ALLERGENS listed in the European Union’s Official Journal. This makes it suitable for use in cosmetic formulations, including those that are organic and unscented.

This cleanser smells luxurious and the recyclable pot is perfect for both home and for travel.
